Guidelines for presentations
Poster session – Presenters will be asked to be available at the Poster session to answer questions from other conference delegates. Posters should be prepared for the Conference in A1/portrait (upright) 59,4 x 84,1 cm. Posters will be arranged and fixed on a double-sided poster board with pins. The paper title and the authors’ name/s and affiliations should appear at the top of the poster. Text and illustrations should be legible. Figures and tables should be kept as simple as possible, so that viewers can readily take away the main message. A copy of your abstract (300 words or less) should be placed in the upper left portion of the poster, with a conclusion in the lower right-hand corner. Although there is considerable room for flexibility, it is often useful to have panels indicating the aims of the research, the methods and subjects involved, the experimental tasks, and the important results. Plan to arrive 10 minutes before the session is to begin.
Symposium presentation – The symposium organisers can set up their own time schedule for their presentations and discussion. The chairs and all presenters are asked to be in the Symposium Room 10 minutes before the start of the session. The symposium organisers should collect all presentations before June 03 and send them by email to conference@ernape.org.
Parallel session presentations – Each presentation lasts a maximum of 15 minutes (13 minutes for those sessions with 5 presentations). After each presentation, there will be time for questions (4-5 minutes). The chairs will be asked to invite presenters to strictly adhere to the available time.
All presenters are invited to prepare their presentations in advance. There is no template for presentations. Feel free to arrange your own presentation and export it in both .pptx and .pdf formats on a USB stick or on your laptop.
